Mantle, a company that specializes in an efficient metal 3D printing solution for the tooling industry, strengthened its leadership team by adding Dana McCallum as its Vice President of Sales and Mark Sloan as its Vice President of Manufacturing. McCallum joins Mantle after six years at Carbon, a leader in the plastic 3D printing market. McCallum serves on the board of Women in 3D Printing and the Society of Plastics Engineering Additive Manufacturing group. “I joined Mantle because of our unique technology and focus on the tooling market. By helping toolmakers, molders, and OEMs produce their precision tooling components in a fraction of the time and cost of traditional manufacturing or other 3D printing processes, Mantle is poised to redefine toolmaking and help manufacturers develop and launch new products faster than ever before.” Sloan joins Mantle after nine years at Sentient Energy, an IoT utility sensor company that was acquired by Koch Industries in 2020. Sloan built Sentient’s manufacturing organization and served most recently as its Executive Vice President of Manufacturing after serving as its Executive Vice President of Engineering. Sloan started his career as a Manufacturing Engineer at companies such as 3Com and Agilent Technologies.
