Xometry, a Maryland-based on-demand manufacturing platform, has announced that it has received ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certification for two of its Quality Management Systems. With over 2,500 manufacturing partners across the U.S, Xometry is one of the largest on-demand manufacturing services. For 3D printing needs, Xometry’s customers can choose from a range of industrial machines from Stratasys, EOS, Concept Laser and Renishaw among others. In addition to this Xometry also offers CNC machining, urethane casting, and injection molding. To date, the quoting engine has issued 8 million jobs to Xometry’s manufacturing partners. Major manufacturers in the aerospace and automotive industry use the AS9100D standard to qualify their parts. The parts manufactured by Xometry are tested on coordinate measuring machines from by Nikon, Zeiss, and Mitutoyo.
